New Vendor Registration

The Vendor Committee is pleased you are interested in applying to be a vendor for the 27th annual Scandinavian Midsummer Festival in Estes Park. On this page you can complete your application, pay for your fees, and download any important forms. Please read everything on this page as information may have changed since last year.

A Non-refundable $15 jury fee is required with your submission. Three photos of your work, 1 of your booth/display, and 1 of you in your studio are required. Please include a short list of items being sold. Email your photos to vendor@scandinavianallianceofcolorado.org and include your business name as it is listed on this application.

A limited number of vendors are accepted into each of our categories. These categories are dependent on each of our vendors and their inventory. If you are not accepted into the festival, all of your fees will be refunded.


 

2019 Details

The 2019 Scandinavian Midsummer Festival, organized by the Scandinavian Alliance of Colorado, is held in the heart of historic Estes Park’s downtown shopping district.

The dates and hours for this year’s festival are June 21st through the 23rd; starting with a Friday Night Preview from 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Saturday from 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m, and Sunday from 9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Friday Night Preview

Last year’s special Friday Night Preview was a huge success and we are offering the option again this year. The beer tent will be open from 4 - 9 p.m.  with the weekend’s entertainment practicing on-stage, music in the beer garden, and an expectation of up to 2000 visitors through the park that evening (this number is approximate based on 2018 festival data). If you are interested in participating you must select the appropriate box in the application and have your setup complete by 4 p.m. on Friday. There is no additional charge.


New Additions

The festival is also creating an area with a focus on Scandinavian cultural organizations. We are offering discounts to those that are prepared to share their cultural events, projects, programs, and activities with festival visitors. These special Cultural Booths are not allowed to sell wares, must be present in their booth the entire festival, and must have information or activities that engage with the public.

Important Details About the Festival

 

SETUP

Set up is Friday 6/21 from 12 p.m. - 8 p.m. - You will receive your setup time before the festival. If you are participating in the preview you will need to be setup by 4 p.m.

You must provide your own tent and display. Booths must be secured by weights (apx 50 lbs per tent leg). Stakes are not allowed into the plaza surface. Spaces are a standard 10 ft. x 10 ft.

CANCELLATION POLICY & DEADLINES

If you cancel by May 1, 2019 you will receive a full refund, after May 1, 2019, no refund will be given.

Early Bird Registration ends on March 15, 2019.

SILENT AUCTION

The Silent Auction is a fundraiser to help support the Festival. Your support is extremely important and greatly appreciated. A donation is completely voluntary.

Town of ESTES PARK SPECIAL EVENT VENDOR LICENSE

The Town of Estes Park requires that all vendors purchase the Special Event Vendor License at a fee of $20 (we have already included it in the cost of the booth fees below).

Colorado CITY, COUNTY, & STATE SALES TAXES

A sales tax number is mandatory and must be provided by June 14th or you will be unable to participate! You will be asked to enter your number in the form below. If you do not have a number, contact the Colorado Department of Revenue - https://www.colorado.gov/revenue

Please complete the following application. Once finished, you will continue the process by choosing your fees, adding them to your shopping cart, and finalizing the registration process with your online payment.

By completing your application and paying online you are agreeing to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Scandinavian Midsummer Festival, the Scandinavian Alliance of Colorado, the Town of Estes Park, and any and all sponsors, agents, employees, representatives, members, and volunteers from any loss or liability, including the costs of attorney fees made by an individual or entity of or arising in connection with, out of, or in relation to my participation in the Scandinavian Midsummer Festival.

Complete the payment portion of the process by selecting your booth needs (number of booths, corner, electricity, and space requests).

Early Bird Registration is Open Until March 15, 2019.

Booths are $195 ($225 after March 15th). Booth fee will also include both your mandatory $20 charge for the Town of Estes Park Vendor License and your $15 non-refundable jury fee. There is no price increase; Early Bird Booth Fee $195, Town of Estes Park Vendor License Fee $20, Non-Refundable Jury Fee $15 = $230.

There is an additional fee per vendor for requesting a corner booth space ($35 per vendor) and for electricity ($35 per vendor).

We will do our best to accommodate your request (if any) for placement, number of booths, and electricity. If we are unable to do so we will refund your payment.

RV PARKING & CAMPING

RV parking and camping is available at the Estes Park Fairgrounds. Reservations must be made below. The prices for hookup is $30 per night; no hookup/tent is $20 per night.
