Cultural Booth Application

The Vendor Committee welcomes your application for a cultural booth at the Scandinavian Midsummer Festival in Golden. On this page you can complete your application and download any important forms. Please read everything on this page as information may have changed since last year.

⚠️ IMPORTANT update about insurance for all organizations that are selling items, food and/or non-food.

This application is for organizations that would like to share their Scandinavian heritage. Cultural Booths are not allowed to sell wares, must be present in their booth the entire festival, and must have information or activities that engage with the public. Cultural booths are offered free of charge!

If you are a Cultural Organization such as the Denver Danes, Finlandia, Norsemen of the Rockies, Sons or Norway, SACC, Swedish Club of Denver, Swedish Genealogical Society of Denver, SWEA etc and would like to SELL items at your booth, you will need to register as a Vendor and not as a Cultural Booth. Vendor Fees for Cultural Organizations are 50% off the regular vendor fee.

Regardless of whether your cultural organization is selling any type of items or not, you still need to register your organization as either a cultural booth (no fee) or as a vendor (50% fee).

Any cultural organizations selling food at the festival will be contacted by the Jefferson County Health Department regarding safe food practices.

⚠️ ALL VENDORS, BOTH CULTURAL AND NON-CULTURAL that are SELLING any ITemS, ARE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT PROOF OF CURRENT CERTIFICATE OF LIABILITY INSURANCE listing the Scandinavian Alliance of COlorado P.O. Box 491 LIttleton, CO 80126 as additional insured TO THE FESTIVAL DIRECTOR NO LATER THAN JUNE 1, 2024. Email a copy of your proof of insurance to vendor@scandinavianallianceofcolorado.org by June 1st.
